Why are the shingles falling off my roof?

There could be a number of reasons why the shingles are falling off your roof. The first question that you should ask yourself is when are where are they coming down? Did Fairfax experience a storm recently? Most shingles can resist winds of 50-60 mph, so a greater wind speed could definitely cause damage. If it wasn’t the wind then it could be the result of a poor installation job. Shingles are attached to the roof with adhesive and nails. Issues with the adhesive or the wrong size nails can also be part of the problem.
